AJAX
Acronym for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. This programming language uses a few technologies (JavaScript and XML) to update Web pages without having to reload the page.
AJAX is a great technology for making sections of your site look and feel more like applications than static Web pages. The downside is that, with all of the content living within one page, you need to consider how search engines will view that page.
