Email Append
Email address appending is the process of finding a person's email address other information you may have. The email address is obtained by matching those records from the marketer's database against a third-party database to produce a corresponding email address.
Be sure to get explicit opt-in from your appended email addresses. Getting opt-in assures the people you're sending to really do want to hear from you and thus improves your list quality. This is a drastic departure from the opt-out process most append vendors choose to go with, in which they assume anyone who doesn't respond wants to hear from you.
