Email Service Provider or ESP
A company that sends and manages email campaigns as a billable service for clients.
The advantage of using an Email Service Provider spans across many areas including better delivery, easy campaign management, tracking and reporting of messages and campaigns and easy data management. Every organization should use some type of email Service Provider to help with their email efforts. Think of it this way- would you ever go and buy a printing press to handle printing your marketing materials and business cards?
