As markets change, terminology changes, too. The MidMarketer world is filled with expressions and acronyms packed with opportunity…and sometimes confusion. You’ll not only get the definition, but a MidMarketer editorial aiming you in the right direction, or at least giving you our opinion on the subject.
JavaScript
A scripting language developed by Netscape and Sun Microsystems that is loosely related to Java.
JavaScript code can be included in a Web page along with HTML and is easier to write than Java. It is not a true programming language, though, and has limited functionality. In order for visitors to see the JavaScript on your site, they must have a browser that supports it- (just about all browsers these days do.).
