Organic Search Listings
When a user searches on a keyword or phrase, the search engine they are using presents them results. Organic Search Listings are the listings that the search engine did not sell (unlike paid listings). Instead, these listings appear only because the search engine felt them to be good candidates based upon the keywords submitted.
Having a high ranking in organic search listings is, of course, a desirable thing and can be accomplished with well formatted page content that makes use of relevant keyword linking techniques. This is the basis of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
