How much time will implementing a creative input document process take, and what priority should be placed on it?
There may be several parts to a creative input document. But they are not big. Spending any time generating an input document is far better than none at all.
You should be able to pull a decent CID together in an hour or two of focused time. And what an excellent time saving, performance-enhancing tool it will prove to be.
Give it top priority for any new projects, even starting small just to get the process going.
